These two local Cambridge residents are the Christmas Elves making this all happen - adding Christmas cheer to our kids in need in our Waikato community. 

As parents of two children themselves, they felt they wanted to do something special for the kids that don't receive much at Christmas time. In 2020 they got to work and put the Waikato Shoebox Christmas to action with 350 shoebox gifts going out to recipients at Waikato schools and organisations.

It was such a success Melissa and Josh have decided to continue Waikato Shoebox Christmas and keep passing on the joy.
